Chicken Sopes
A delicious and traditional recipe made from masa. You will fry the masa in a flat round shape that ends up soft but crispy, perfect for topping with your favorite ingredients.

Preparation
- Heat up the lard in a frying pan and place the sopes upside down to fry. Turn them over and spread the whole surface with the refried beans.
- Add some of the shredded chicken, cabbage, onion, cilantro, cream, and cheese. By this time the sopes should be hot. If not, leave them for a few more seconds until golden.
- Place on a kitchen towels for a few seconds to remove the excess fat and serve immediately with your favorite hot salsa.
