Caramel Atole


  • 1 qt of cow's milk
  • ½ cups of water
  • ¼ cup cornstarch
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 cup cajeta (caramelized milk)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  1. In a saucepan add the milk and cinnamon and heat.
  2. Add the cajeta and mix to blend.
  3. Dissolve the cornstarch in water and pour it into the pot and mix.
  4. Stir for 5 minutes until thick.
  5. Pair this atole with Gamesa® Surtido Rico assorted cookies.
