Contest Details:

Submit a photo of your altar from October 22nd, 8AM PST, to October 31st at noon, 2025.

Important Guidelines:

Make sure your altar has (3) tiers, includes our official Pan de Muerto, along with candles, calaveritas, marigold flowers, and photos of loved ones, pets, or celebrities. Be bold, colorful, and authentic!

Selection of Winners:

A Cardenas and Ranch Market judging panel will select a Top 20 on October 31st, 5PM PST. Then, the public will vote for the best Top 3 from November 1st, 12PM PST, through November 2nd, 8PM, 2025.

1st Place Winner – $500 Cardenas or Ranch Market Gift Card

2nd Place Winner – $250 Cardenas or Ranch Market Gift Card

3rd Place Winner – $100 Cardenas or Ranch Market Gift Card

Contest begins October 22, 2025, at 8:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time (“PDT”) and ends on October 31, 2025, at 12:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (“Contest Period.”) Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Contest. Sponsor’s judging and selection of the top twenty (20) Contest submissions begins October 31, 2025, at 1:00 PM PDT, and ends October 31, 2025, at 5:00 PM PDT (“Judging Period”). Public voting for the three Winners begins November 1, 2025, at 12:00 PM PDT, and ends November 2, 2025, at 8:00 PM PDT (“Public Voting Period”). Entrants may submit one (1) photograph for the Contest by entering their photograph through Sponsor’s official Contest link: https://www.cardenasmarkets.com/altar-contest (“Site.”) Once the entrant accesses the Site, entrants must follow the on-screen entry instructions to fully complete their submission.
